Client Grant Thornton have commissioned me for 10 years and, amazingly, I can recognise every one of the 50,000 pictures that I have taken for them! (though please don’t ask me to name each individual..).
Brand Manager Bradley Neil says “His quality and consistency with corporate photography has been our benchmark. Alex always delivers superb photoshoots that capture the personality of our staff and compliments our brand style perfectly”.

Apart from the consistency I can deliver, having a good rapport with the client and subjects really helps in getting that extra bit from a shoot. Grant Thornton’s staff magazine The Difference needs that little bit extra from the portraits to make an impact on the cover.
Director of Communications Olivia Gadd says “One of the things Alex does really well is taking art direction and building on it. He is meticulous at getting any shots that have been directly requested, but also develops his own ideas. The only downside is we have so many great shots to choose from!”

It’s all well and good to have thousands of great images but accessing them and finding the right one to use can be a challenge. To enable my clients to find their images quickly, I make them available through my on line library. In Grant Thornton’s case the library has all 50,000 (and counting!) available. Each image is carefully captioned with names, descriptions and event details and this makes re-using them a trifle.
Bradley Neill states “We now use Alex’s library as a key marketing tool for our business. It allows staff to quickly view and select images from his recent shoots which we adopt for internal usage and allows our external agency access to high res versions. It has proved to be extremely cost effective, efficient and a user friendly tool.”
